Lisa Davina Phillip, a British actress, was perhaps best known as a musical theatre star until recently, having appeared in West End productions including The Lion King, Ghost the Musical, and Matilda.

However, she recently turned her hand to film work, gaining recognition for her role in Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, a new festive Netflix film lauded for its 'overwhelmingly sumptuous' design as well as its 'charming music and delightful cast'. Phillip plays 'a light-hearted and love-starved mailwoman' in the film, starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Hugh Bonneville, and has been praised by critics for her 'vigorous' and 'scene-stealing' performance, particularly during the musical numbers.
